Hey guys. Recently, my tank has had algae/film buildup on the glass alot (like I have to clean it about every 2 days or else I won't be able to see through it) and the filter pad in my wet/dry (on the drip plate), is constantly needing to be cleaned as well (like every day it's just totally filthy). My rocks and substrate don't seem to be affected by any algae (or any more than they already had). Anyone know what might be causing this? I keep thinking the filter thing would eventually stop as seems like it can only remove so much before there wouldn't be any more (or at least not as much) to remove. My only thought would be that maybe my skimmer isn't working up to par? Any thoughts?

Huh. What kind of skimmer is it?
Have you done any water changes lately?
