what ato do you recomend

    The ATO or controller debate is a very valid one. By the time you shell out for a good ATO, a controller is not much more. If you are serious about reefing, it's a very good bang for your buck investment. You would pay much more for separate components, and not get the same functionality and features as a controller.

    I have been researching on ATO that has no moving part, just in case the float switch stuck. So I thought Tunze would be best, but it's $200. Now, as someone mentioned, mine as well use controller such as Reef Angel since it's pretty close to $200.

    Further research, this is what I found. Avast Marine Works has this type of ATO (which uses sensor or not moving part, and has float switch back up). On top of that, it's compatible with any controller. ANDDDD the price is $89.

    I think I am going with them.
