They're white. If algae, good or bad and why aren't my snails eating them?

Its snail eggs... the ncurtile snails i believe leave those.. i have them on my tank as well.. they each have like 5 embryos and will turn into a larva which fish love to eat before they can turn into snails. Just scrape them off or leave them its up to you.. but mine bug me as well

Without a clearer picture, you're not going to be able to get a definitive answer. If you're talking about the white specks on your glass, it could be anything from copepods to juvenile feather duster worms to snail eggs to baby snails to sponges...etc etc etc.

I have a few of those white specs on my back glass also, I had no clue what they were, I scraped a few off with my fingernail, guess they fell to the sand, will they hatch or whatever in the sand? If it is a snail or copepod?
