what are the good brands for MH lights?

i was wondering because i am looking for MH lights as most of you know and i am just trying to get the best MH lights for my reef tank thank you for your time and information and FYI i have a 21" deep hex reef tank that's about 65 gallons

 

Are you asking best bulbs or best ballast of are you looking for an all in one system?

 

Bulbs, Current-USA MH bulbs, Petmountain.com, low price, great bulbs. If cost isn't really an issue, SunPod ballasts are very good!

 

BlueLife SPS bulbs are very good with good color rendition. I have a Galaxy dual 250W ballast and like it very much.

 

I also use the galaxy dual 250W with 20k radium bulbs and when i complete my upgrade to the 150 i will be adding an additional 250W galaxy balast.

 

I have a Current set up.. Like it alot.

 

As far as lamps go Ushio, XM and Phoenix typically top most lists....

Ballsts, Blue Wave, Galaxy, Ice Cap and others are good...

Reflectors, all of SLS are good, as are others but size might be an issue...

 

I have Phoenix lamps and love the color!
