My favorites. Leopard Wrasses. Gives me a chance to show off two of my three.

Just got a beautiful Potters Wrasse. Need to get pictures. They are supposed to get 5-6 inches in length. Though they are special needs fish, they do make great reef safe tankmates.

Incorrect young man, how do I know- I have 6 Tangs. A single tang (baby) would be fine for a few years in a 40 breeder.

you have six tangs? and im sure these are all in tanks of the correct size? it would be foolish to put a tang in such a small living space when they are used to swimming the open ocean. its like making your child live in a closet his whole life

Those are really beautiful fish MyBoyGus. I have very little first hand knowledge of wrasses, are they special needs fish because of the size they grow to?

all flame hawks are aggressive by nature, and any fish will eat pods. not just mandarins. so it would not be a good choice to make. ive kept plenty of mandarins and know a bit.

All wrasses are special needs, and I don't want this point to get glossed over. They must be housed with proper tank-mates, must be feed several times a day, and, most importantly, must be kept IN A COVERED TANK.

Leopard wrasses present an additional challenge in that they do not always take well to captivity, much like many anthias, and can be difficult to wean onto prepared foods. They really need an established tank too.

Lastly, please put any wrasse in an appropriate sized tank, which will vary by genus/species.

Moral of the story: Do your research (as with any fish)
