welded acrylic!!!

    i did it!!! my acrylic for my diy sump came in two days ago, i prep'd my working station and this morning i welded my first seam! NO airbubbles at all! this is going to be similar to melev's model m sump.
    heres a tip for people that want to weld acrylic but think its too dificult... im 16 and i did it no problem​

    wielding acrylic? i tough you melt it with some kind of chemical then attach it to another piece of acrylic.

    The solvents in the cement melt the plastic a bit at the joints and the two pieces become one. That's why it's called welding.

    could you also use a plastic welder?
