We should get a new forum

i have a really good (IMO) idea. If any of you has ever read feild and stream, which is an outdoors magazine, you may know about the dont fry bacon naked tips. the section is devoted to tips that are ingenius in their simplicity and obviousnes. If you dont get the name, you know how when you fry bacon, is sputters HOT grease everywhere, well, wouldn't it he really dumb to fry it naked and have it sputter all over you and burn you. Anyway, i think we should have a forum called "dont fry bacon naked" where people share simple tips. I'll start with sharing that i always keep a hand towell near my fish tanks for obvious reasons.

 

I second this. Also keep a cutting board and "fish food only" cup next to the tank for feeding time to keep silverside tails out of my drinking glasses

 

I don't think you need the cutting board right next to the tank, especially if a table isn't around it. the glass may be useful though. But the towell is almost guaranteed usefull, rearange your LR, dry your hands, handfeed fish, dry your hands, spill a test kit, clean the mess, water runs down the glass, dry the tank, The possibilities are endless.

 

Still, who's with me w/ the new forum?

 

some people are masochists. lol. thats the only way they fry bacon.

 

they probably get a buch of tiny blisters afterwards. that would sure suck.

I think that a thread was started a while ago about great tips to use on your tank. Not sure thou, may want to ask a Mod to search it. Luna
