Are the powerheads you'll be using designed to be used on a wave maker? Some Koralias are designed for that, but others are not. You shouldn't use the ones that are not designed to be used on a wavemaker.

The Nano 425 is in the new Evolution series and is controllable.
The controller you mention is suitable for the Evos. I would look at something like the Reefkeeper Lite if it were me though, in fact I did go with the Reefkeeper Lite and two Evo 1400's myself. Not much more money than the wavemaker alone and much more flexibility.

Sweet. :) I was also looking into the Aqua Controller Jr. I was not aware controllers also work as wave makers for powerheads?

And yes, I meant the 425. My mistake.

    I certainly will give feedback.:)

I think AZ was saying(above) that a controller will also control the pumps(like a wavemaker would)?

A controller like the Reefkeeper Lite at about $95 lets you control temperature via a heater, fan or chiller, control your lights, shut the lights off on overtemperature and alarm, turn the light back on when the temp is where you want it, control all your pumps and shut them off for feeding or quiet periods, control powerheads on a wavemaker function and much more with the basic $95 unit. In time you can add additional functions or modules to communicate over the Net, monitor and control pH, Salinity and ORP, control moonlights, control an ATO system and much more.

For the $95 versus the $50 or more for a wavemaker with no other functionality it was an easy choice for me.
