yeah i ditched my GE drinking water ro unit (which i paid $275.00 for) and bought a typhoon III from air water ice. so i have the whole setup in the basement and i wanted to know where you guys got your containers from. right now im just using a single rubbermaid tub but that wont work for long. my friends all use rubbermaid trash can but don't have to deal with near the volume i have to. i've looked online and found brand new food grade plastic 55 gallon drums for $20 each. i was wandering if anyone else had a better idea. yeah yeah with no pics, it didn't happen so here.

Go to a feed store they should have either drinking tanks for animals or huge sealed spray tanks for tractors and such.

I have a ton of 55 Gal drums (blue plastic) you can have. Were chlorine, so nothing a rinse and dry would not fix.

Will be in KC next weekend if you want them.

I wanted a large tank so I could mix my salt water 1 box (200 gal) at a time. It went with Norwesco Norwesco they have a wide variety of shapes and sizes of storage tanks well suited to our needs. My tank is 30"dia and 72"tall. It set me back just over $200 but I'll save that with my first full tank of water. It's worth noting that if you have to pay freight to ship one of these things to your house it can cost almost as much as the tank itself. Thankfully, Norwesco lists distributors on their site and one was close enough to me that I could drive down and pick it up -- no shipping.
