I have a rio 200 for my 38 gallon tank. Is it enought current. Also, I got my first coral about a week ago. I got a flower pot coral. I know they are really hard to keep alive but the guy who sold it to me said it was one of the easiest. Anyway, the flower pot coral shrunk down and pink bubbles are covering it. Does anyone know what is wrong?

My tank has been cycled for about 6 weeks. I have 65 watt Power compacts.
    Also, what about my current?

The guy lied. Sounds like the coral is dying to me. Can you post a picture of the coral in its present state? Regarding your current, how/where do you have the powerhead placed in the tank?

Goniopora is one of the most demanding and one of the lowest corals as far as proven track record for success in captivity goes!!! The pet store lied big time or they aren't too knowledgeable!
It isn't even a case og lighting demands as muc as water parameters that are different from that of many other corals we try and keep successfully!
What are your water parameters? Temp. and salinity?
