  1. Sure. I'd sacrifice a digit to save this amazing ocean creature!

I got this pick while scuba diving in the Red Sea. I saw a thread awhile back that had a bunch of dive picks and the author said he/she wished he/she had seen a sea turtle. I couldn't find the thread since then, so I decided to start a new one. Sorry to rub it in but it's kinda of a neat story.:yaknow: We found this guy with his flipper entangled on a mooring anchor. A couple of the dive masters went and freed him and probably saved his life! He just swam away like it never happened.

We needed a Scuba diving group on 3Reef. We had a turtle buddy in the Bahamas...he wasn't exactly hurt or anything. He just happened to be cruising around when we went down the mooring line.

yeah the dive masters that I always went with were really amazing people. They were from the UK, but took up permanent residence in the Sinai peninsula. I think they just couldnt leave the reef life around there. They were huge fans of the reef and reef dwellers. Super protective of it too! I learned a lot from them. Also it ignited my intrest in reef tanks.
