looks fine to me but careful that the yellow tang doesnt become a bully if its only a 4' tank

Flames can be safe with all corals but it is dependent on the individual fish. Firefish/royal gramma and bangai cardinals are all good adds. Stay away from the mandarin

Im also currently stocking a new 90g, for a tang I decided to go with a blue eyed tang. And I will be stocking more densely than what you are currently planning.

How soon do you plan on stocking these fish into the tank? As said, you don't have the 90 yet (but once you do you'd better have a camera on hand for pics) lol, but if I were you, I'd stick closer to the line-up of fish on your list. Less is sometimes better. Especially if you're on a budget.....JMO

I think thats very much a matter of opinion. Not sure there is a right or wrong answer. For me I choose to stock fish that wont compete with each other over food or territory (or at least as little as possible) and try to stick to not go overboard with fish that need a lot of room (tangs and such)

well the better your filtration the more densely you can stock and also each system is different so make a list of which fish you want and add the most peaceful fish first and most agressive last and after you hit your list play it by year on how much you will add...keep territories in mind....i have 9 fish in my tank(55) because i made sure to add the fish in a certain order and also they're all compatible fish and made sure not to overstock certain portions of the tank....i seperated my tank into 4 sections....high swimming fish, mid swimming fish, bottom dwellers, and fish who spend a lot of time in or on rock work...i do not recommend over stocking but find your limits not every tank has the same

Agreed, forgot to add filtration (I prefer frequent water changes over skimming, but my 90 will use both)
