Sorry about your losses, but to be honest, I've had a CBS in nearly all my SW tanks starting with the very first, and I've never had any issues. OTOH, the last CBS I bought was slaughtered by my cleaner shrimp as soon as he was released into the tank. By the time I got my hand on a net, he was completely dismembered, the top of his abdomen was ripped open, and the cleaner was eating him.

FWIW, the order is for 2 tanks- my main 29g DT and a 10g rogue/critter tank. The SLC will start in the 10g. I've never had one of those that didn't kill every fish and shrimp they could catch. Anything that turns rogue in the DT will end up with him.

lol! just thought i'd give ya a heads up on my few experiences with the buggers! Wish i could keep them, but they always destroy my tank regradless of feeding! You know what this purchase means right? Now you'll know ya can see every critter you've ever imagined while holding a beer, sitting in your lazy boy, amd have it shipped to your house! enjoy! lol
BTW here's my CBS killing a big emerald!

Glad you are aware of that Mr. B.. I was about to say I would be more worried about the SLF then the CB shrimp. They can be quite boisterous but are fascinating to watch. Good luck with all your new animals Mr. B I know for them it is like winning the lottery going to such a good home.;)
    Pictures please when they arrive!!!

Yes, very fascinating, indeed. There will always be room for one, even if it is the rogue tank. lol

Thank you. I do try my best. :)

    They're Here!

Package arrived at 1:30 yesterday afternoon, and not a moment too soon, either- I was almost out of fingernails. lol. Everything was a little sluggish, but still alive. In just a few minutes in the tanks, they were going about their usual business of looking for food. :D

Sorry, but no pics yet. My camera has a way of freaking everything out. When they see the red light, they all dart under or behind the rocks. lol

Thank you. Yeah, as soon as I can train them to pose instead of hiding. :Looking:

Thank you. I really was starting to worry- I've heard the nightmare stories...

One thing that didn't make sense is that FedEx sent it all the way to Philadelphia- almost 2 hours past my house- just for it to take another 8 hours to make it's way back when Baltimore is en route and a whole lot closer, not to mention the 3 hours it was tied up in Tennessee! Add that mentality to the fact that I've never kept anything in a bag more than one hour... yeah, I done some nail-biting. lol
