Mr. Bill i hate to say it, but once ya see what you get compared to LFS, its hard to go back! If I had a better LFS I might feel different!

But as far as the packaging they use metal clips to secure! i don't like cutting the bag as it doesnt allow much bag left to float and acclimate! i found a screw driver to bend the clamp and 2 needle noses to bend it works great!

    Enjoy!

BTW don't sign up for their daily emails! VERY DANGEROUS!lol to the bank account!

I'm actually still on the fence... the nice part about going to the LFS is that you see what you're getting before deciding to buy. OTOH, I've had 2 go out of business in the past 3 years and yet another, the closest one to me, just fell under new management who decided to drop SW altogether and expand their reptile section. :(

There is one really nice LFS that about 30 miles away, but that's also mostly city traffic, so it's a pain. A buddy and I try to get together and go about 3 or 4 times a year when we both have a couple hundred to blow. Otherwise, it's not hardly worth the trip.

yep over priced! Love to support them, but when i can get 100 snails, 50 hermits an urchin, a few shrimp and a few other things for the same price as about 20 things total, sorry, i got other critters to take care of!
