Rule of thumb is 1 fish every 1-2 weeks.

    IMO

generally a period of 10 days to 2 weeks is recomended in order to give your bacteria enough time to respond to the bioload just added

are you only having 1 clown? clowns or other fish that are often in tanks in pairs
so get added 2 at a time , simply to reduce the risk of fighting if you add one later to a tank with one in already

shrimps are in many cases more sensitive than fish, so again the shrimp should take its place in the queue of the new purchases at 10 - 14 day intervals

    thats my 2 cents
    Steve

I would wait to see what the new clown does to your biofilter. Any new addition as far as fish goes is going to strain your biofilter for a while till it catches up. This goes especially for a small system such as yours.

Take it slow or you will kill everything. Dont add a shrimp for at least 6 weeks as your probably going thru a cycle right now and that will just kill a shrimp. My advice to you is SLOW down this is not a race. The amazing tanks you see did not happen in a week, they took years.

I already had a 3 inch clown, and i added a 1 inch clown in tank today. No fighting going on, but when I first got the bag and floated up in the water, the big and the small clown started twitching. This is okay?
    Or is this twitching fighting?

Thanks for the shrimp advice though
