    The JBJ is the exact same design as the Hydor WaveSmart. The only difference? It's made by Hydor...and looks sleeker. That's doesn't matter so much; you're not going to see it.

    I think you should just go with the mp40es. In addition to being higher quality it has a MUCH smaller footprint than the koralias. Only the small wet side is in the tank with the mp40es, while the entire koralia is very noticable in the tank. JM2C

    Now if I had thee money, I would definitely go with the Mp40. But personally I am either going with a controller with separate wavemaker function or I will get a stand-alone wave-maker.

    Verrry true! I usually shell out the dough for the vortechs for this very reason. The only koralias that I consider are the nanos because they are smaller... But still slightly noticable.
    I have hidden koralias in my rockwork before but then you still have a cord to deal with.

    I love the koralia nanos in my 29G; they are very small - I have 3 of them. I don't know if I could stand the evolutions sticking inward to my tank by 6".
