    Amazing.

So we were trying to replace the bearing on my MP40 today...my fiance took it out to the garage...and next thing I know the MP40 is broken.

So he's buying me a new one. YAY and :furious3:

My question is, should I upgrade to an MP60? This is a 90 gallon tank. I have another MP40 on the way, so I can do two MP40s, or an MP60 and a MP40.

    What do y'all think?!

    Thanks :)

Good God, are you trying to recreate a hurricane!

No.. you don't need...should not get a MP60. My two 40s on my 90g rarely went over 60%.

One MP40 and a koralia would be enough on a 90. MP60's are rated for 180 gallons and up.

I would do the two mp40's... unless your doing bare bottom with strictly acros.
Haha, my friend has two 60's and two 40's in his 500g and that still has insane flow, so i think your good.

Hahahaha. No, I don't want a hurricane. ;) I don't know much about these, hence why I come here!

    I'll go for the 40 then :)

Umm...well..the wet side is in tact, the dry side is opened up and....part of the metal bits are smashed..I don't know what they are called? LOL

I actually had the MP40 (turned all the way up) and a Koralia going in the 90 and it was not enough flow, at all.

K thanks guys! I'll go with two 40s.

Ya, I had one and a K3. You will really like the 2 MP40s. You do not need all the flow, but the two together are much better. I ran mine antisync wave crest at 50-60% and it was plenty.... well until I got a Apex and a WMX... then that was just crazy.;)
