Visit to local fish store

I was at a LFS and saw this tank and its inhabitants.

ive seen that sort of tank at one of the big al's i go to up here. they keep their corals seperate like that. and usually one or two lonely fish in it. does make you wonder eh bruh. lol

 

I dont think they ever expect to sell those fish. otherwise, they are a PITa to get out.

 

Me either. My LFS has a couple fish in the coral show tanks, but won't sell them. I really wanted the ultra-awesome melanurus wrasse they had in the SPS/frag tank, but no dice.

I imagine they'd usually keep tangs and flatworm-eating wrasses in the coral tanks, for fairly obvious reasons.

 

I know. but thats half the fish in the tank. And its a 55 gallon tank.

 

Trust me, I know.

 

Plus there are 5 damsels, algae blenny, a pearly jawfish, a 6 line wrasse, and a cuc.

 

Well, it's an unusual selection, that's for sure. The damsels aren't exactly needed in there lol. It's not unusual to have fish in the coral tank, though.

 

True and I understand that but man thats not good.

 

Weren't you referring to the size of that tang in the small tank, with little room to move around? :
