    It works for getting rid of free floating organisms, bacteria and algae, but it will not clear out your existing algae. I will probably get one for my new 150g it that helps you any.

    I'm using a Coralife Turbo Twist 3x. Very satisfied with it. I use a Aquaclear 30 powerhead since the max flow rate is right around what is needed to kill algae.
