I plan to put a small pump (100 GPH) for my 18watt UV sterilizer, in my skimmer section of my sump. Will this be ok for the skimmer, as far as it not messing with its proper operation?

I don't want to add it to the return section as it would kill off any pods that pass through it from the fuge.

I dont think that having the same section of your sump house both your skimmer and UV sterilizer, it may cause you to search for a new sweet spot on your skimmer but it shouldnt hurt your system

Ok just wanted to make sure that it wouldn't mess with the skimmer operation....looking for another sweet spot is fine. Technically since the whole thing is a new setup...it'll just be searching for the sweet spot. :D
