What I would like to do is mount my RO unit downstairs in the laundry room. Then run a 1/4" hose up to the tank thru the floor since the hole is already there. Then I would mount a valve in the sump somewhere and use that to control the height. But Will the water pressure be sufficient to push the water up hill that far?

It depends on your water pressure. Send Russ a message, he'll get back to ya and let you know what you need. It probably depends on your water pressure, but you may need a pressure pump or you may be ok? One way or another, it can be done.
