    So this is possible? Anyone else try it? I have a small needle urchin (not sure if that is its true name) thats spikes are a good 6+ inches.

    thats pretty cool :D i noticed your gloves, what brand are they, i want to get some, i use laytex gloves now but a ton of water gets inside my gloves, some arm length ones would be nice

    looks like coralife aquagloves same ones i got, only down side is the finger tips are rubbery and hard so it's hard to work with delicate things

    That's funny. I was going to say the exact same thing.

    As far as needle urchins are concerned, if it is a true needle urchin, then they aren't grazers.....they actually impale critters on their "needles". I would be reluctant to give that kind a haircut. (You can tell this kind because there will be 5 white sections of needles so it looks like a starfish was spray painted onto a white urchin. (Sorry for the crazy description, that's the best way I know how to describe them).
