Anyone out there familiar with vortechs can give me some info?

Mostly.. do you guys really use the pulse mode to make waves much?
Most people i hear just use lagoon at night and reef crest during the day..

If you do want to use pulse.. you will have to lower the level right or else you will have splash out?

Just trying to figure out what gonna be best for my tank before i even get them.. lol b/c i know when i get them i am gonna push a lot of buttons and check things out in all modes.. and just afraid to push water out lol

Buying fish online to me is risky business. What about the changes in temperature? How long does it take for delivery? Returns are a pain.
I've never bought a fish that I didn't take a good look at but I do have a lot of fish stores in South Florida. Just be careful that they are reputable.

Powder Blue Tangs are very susceptible to ich, temperature changes and water quality. You might want to get cleaner shrimp as they do a great job on eating parasites off the fish and as a scavanger in the tank. I have 2 cleaner shrimp and 2 red blood shrimp and they eat everything including dead fish. I've had a few fish that totally disappeared, not even a bone was found! Good luck!:)
