Upgrade Tank and Light. Need some Help

I just upgraded to 40G Breeder from a 20G Tall. I used to have 2x24w T5's, but now I have a Tek 6x36 T5. I already mounted the corals at different levels. How should I acclimate them to the new light?

And how long should I run the actinics/daylight for?

I don't want to burn or bleach the corals.

something like 12-14 hours actinics, 10-12 hours daylight.

you should start the daylights at like 6 hours a day and add like 2hrs evry week.

so first week 10 hrs actinic + 6 hrs daylight
week 2 11 hrs actinic + 8 hrs daylight
wk3 12 hrs actinic + 10 day
wk4 13 hr actinic + 11 day
wk5 14 hr actinic + 12 day

or u can just start at your original wattage approx by removing bulbs and add a bulb each week, actually a better way to go
