Up and running (Updated 10/1)

my yt damsel was my first fish and he has been friendly with the others.

 

Yellow tailed damsels are one of the least aggressive fish from the damsel family. But a damsel is a damsel is a damsel.

 

Back in about 1988 I set up a 20H reef system and used a three stripe HumBug Damsel to cycle it. I never did get him out of theer and that dam fish lived to be 13 years old and meaner that the ****ens. He harassed every critter I put in the tank from then on. The only thing he left alone was a huge Coral Banded shrimp.

 

Its been almost a month since this tanks been up and running. Currently everythings going great all my parameters are fine Amm-0 Nitrite-0 Nitrate-0 pH-8 kh-8 sg-1.025. I added live a 3 lb piece of LR to the tank and with it came a little feather duster, and a 3 legged starfish. Put in some blue LED moonlights for night time viewing. Just recently I added a black&white occ. clown fish to the tank and so far he's been doing great, eats well. Here are a few pictures of it up to date. I plan on getting some sort of shrimp within a week or so along with a snail or two. I'll post an update when I do.
