Well my dads at it again.I tell him if your ever topping off the water use to water and test the salinity.I topped off my tanks last night but he thinks they needed to be filled again.one is 29g and he added 4 cups of se that doesn't worry me so much, what worries me is my 5g chi tank he put 2 cups in.im off work in 4 hrs and I wasn't planning on stopping home but now I feel like I need to.

My other gripe is he's wayyyyy over feeding them bc" they're always hungry".I keeps large variety of foods around but 90% of my feedings are rods frozen food or homemade.he has burned through 3 huge cans of flakes in 4 weeks! The flakes are formula 1,2,and reef mix and its the large containers.now I should add he managed to kill off a solid$ 1500 of my prized pets not to long ago during a power outage by removing the battery powered air pump bc it was making to much noise.

Mon I plan to set up my controller and ato to square away my 210.but that doesn't solve the biocube top offs or chi top offs nor the feeding issues.

Plans for this week will be to lock all fish food in my mini fridge.
buy some plate glass to build a new chi tank so I can drill it and connect it to my 210.
That plumbing isn't to bad to do its on the other side of the room.
thinking about drilling the biocube to do the same.but that plumbing would be epic.its across the house.

I think your Dad needs his own tank to keep him busy. Get him going on a frag tank.

Ha!!!! My br gfo reactor is almost 3/4 full of gfo and I still have phosphates changing the media every week.now atleast I know where that's comming from.looks like another ex is in order tonight aswell lol.

It certainly does sound like he needs something of his own to worry about.

Sounds like he needs some magazines to read so he can realize what he is doing and how harmful it can be. It is one thing to come from you, but coming from a different source can make all the difference. Good Luck to you

just buy your dad, a goldfish and bowl so he nan feed,feed,feed..till the goldy overdoses bloats and turns upside down...
it should teach him a lesson not to overfeed...
If you really wanna give him a lesson buy a 10 gallon with a dozen or 2 dozen feeders...and let him be...
find out how many die every day from his over feeding habit...
