I have been feeding once a day, or sometimes twice a day. Last time i did a filter floss change was hm...last week, I cleaned the sponge ever once a week, feeding I may have over did it, since couple of flakes ended up sinking to the sand bed. Currently nothing much. Anyway here is the very specefic spec at the moment.

30lb of live rock, used 15lb of live rock, and 15lb of river rock.
30lb of sand bed. 20lb live sand, 10lb dry sand
    1 clown fish
    couple hermits, and snails
    biocube 36watt compact stock lighting
1 biocube stock pump, koralia 2 power head
    biocube stock wet/dry filter
    no skimmer
been using tap water, water change ever week or 2
tank been running for 2 month
feeding I over did it i think, since some flakes sinked as i said.
And currently still struggling with diatoms, since I been using tap water.

Will my GSP, clove polyp, and zoa be okay? and the clown fish? Corals are opening up fine at the moment..but worried as of now. And...
...What do you mean scrubbing back there...the filter area..? If so, No i never done any scrubbing in filter area, but i do clean out the filter cartridge, and the sponge.
Will be hard for me to access RO/DI water since I drive a motorcycle, unless i buy the unit. I do have a water purifier at home for humans to drink. Water bottle quality

And this was the water test I did at the LFS 2 hours ago.

Definitely feeding too much. Cut down to once every two or three days. Also, what kind of flake? Many flake and pellet foods are absolutely loaded with nitrates and phosphates. That should definitely help. I would still test the tap for sure as well.

Prime should be fairly decent. I will not feed pellets at all because they are even riskier. If you do, you need to soak them first. If you don't, the fish can gorge on them, and they expand when wet. It can cause a stomach/intestinal rupture.
And +1 to frozen. Just make sure to drain the water used for defrosting before adding it to the tank.

I do brine/spirulina, mysis, bloodworms, and tubifex worms. I also feed a home made food made of scallops, muscles, oyster, shrimp, garlic, and broccoli.
I would not do a water change until you test your tap water first. It could just add to the problem. If it test out OK, do a 30% change, then another 30% change 48 hours from the first one.
