Just checking before I buy these guys and have to eat one of them for dinner. Can you have a Red skunk cleaner shrimp and a Blood red fire shrimp in the same reef tank. Because if they mess up my tank I will stir fry them up.

hahahaha - that would be an expensive shrimp cocktail!

If you are talking about a 125 - and there are no other inverts/shrimp in there - I would say you would be OK to have both of those shrimp in there. Try to get them at roughly the same size - that might help with potential bully issues.

I am telling ya they will be dinner. Any way yes in the 125 and no other shrimp. I have my cuc [hermits snails and such] but that is it and Mr yellow watchman but they don't pair with him so it should be cool and I will add them both in the same day. I read they need a longer drip acclamation. We will see.

I personally drip all my inverts for acclimation - but be sure to temp acclimate at the same time.

A 4-6' section of std. airline tubing tied in a square knot and put the bag w/shrimp (two bags!!!) in your sump while you drip acclimate you can kill two birds with one stone.

Thanks I see you have a few yourself. Do you feed them or do they find there own food.

You're not going to be able to avoid feeding them, at least the skunk will be front & center anytime you put in food. If you don't feed them, they'll find their own by stealing from your corals...and they don't care if they bother or damage them in the process. My skunks are first to the turkey baster at feeding time, so they don't steal from corals.
