Turbo snails not very-turbo!!!

    Hi luna, its a fairly new system. been up and running for around 3 months now, their is plenty of algae on glass and rocks.

    If they are turbos? how big are they

    if you have algae on the glass, leave it a goood few days between scraping , then you can see the trails they make and that verifies they are eating and moving.

    7 does seem a lot to me in that size tank , also Astra snails IMO being smaller are faster than turbo snails . I have 20 Astra snails in my 70 and they do get about a lot during both day and night

    IMO, you have too many turbos in a young tank. If I where in your shoes, I would get rid of 5 and stay with 2 at the most. Luna
