Turbo Snail vs Hair Algae, The Movie.

I did put the 1st snail there, the other 2 found it on their own, the Astrea reached from the glass, grabbed a mouthful and slept, hung there on the Algae until it broke away, is was to funny, he was not going to let go of that food, seeing is believing, so when you got hair algae, before you think to get this, add chemicals, scrub and scrape, just remember this movie, Turbos are CHAMPIONS.

LOL very good, how long did it take for the algae to be finished off?

It took them less than an hour, I wish I had gotten the shot with the Astrea hanging on and tangling with that hair algae his mouth, I didn't get the camera ready until it broke off, and he still didn't let go, hahaha!

 

LOL they are tenacious. I have never had turbos but have had Astreas and Trochus. I had a patch of algae and one of the snails went through it and left a trail like a mower in long grass.

 

ooh yea! the Turbos don't play around at all, some in here said they won't touch it if its to long, this proves other wise! I love em and swear by em. very good addition to any tank. Their looking for more, that outlet is clean as a whistle, they never could get to it before, until I turned the filter off and moved it, you should see the Turbos going after Algae on my rotating powerhead, hahaha! thats funny.

 

Wow...the action had me at the edge of my chair!!;D

I can't wait for the sequel.

 

I normally root for the under dog but that's one fight I just couldn't.
