I ordered copepds on 8/17/08 and had to pay overnight shipping. They shipped it 8/21 and when I got it all were dead. The thing is the package said there was a 3 week lifespan, and the "harvest date" was 7/21/08! They shipped me copepods a week past their expiration date. I've emailed them, but so far no response.

    Don't buy from ReefScavengers

I recently purchased over $100 of inverts from ReefScavengers. When they arrived, 2 were DOA. Reefscavengers offers a 14-day guarantee...but, they will not respond to my emails. I've sent them 3 requesting either replacement or a refund. And they have no phone# to contact them. Their site says they respond to emails within 24 hours - what a joke they are.

Well, seeing as how they are located in Florida and we have a couple big hurricanes right now, let's just give them the benefit of the doubt.

Hmm. I received my order last week, after a long hurricane-related delay. Several of my critters were dead on arrival or shortly thereafter. I've tried contacting them a few times with no response and their web site is currently down. Is this a place to avoid?
