    Friends,

Does anyone know what toxic substance is inside Marineland Stealth Heaters? Mine cracked, spewed its toxic internals, killed EVERYTHING in the tank and made me VERY sick!

I guess I just need to know what I'm gonna die from! j/k about dying (I hope,) but I am pretty sick...

    Thanks,
    Zep

Call the poison control center in your area and have them access their database.

My fish store wasn't sure, but was afraid it could be mercury! They recommended I throw everything -- including sand, live rock and few remaining surviving mushrooms -- away! No wonder I'm sick!

I had NO IDEA a $40 heater had the potential to kill my tank! I've probably spent close to $2000 on corals and the tank was a pristine, healthy ecosystem for 2 plus years!

    I am NOT happy! :-(
