Two days ago I noticed it pulled in. It stayed that way even through lunch today. When I got back home after work (5 hours later) it looked like this. Otherwise, fine.

What I noticed first, oddly enough, were neon green patches on my substrate... then I thought oh crap and saw the torch.

Overall, it never grew and the tentacles were never as long as I thought they should be. Historically, it looked like this:

I have it for several months now.

Ran my tests and are as follows:

    Ammonia,Nitrite,Nitrate,Phosphate 0

Ca low at 380 (been slowly raising it since my missed 9 days of dosing on Hawaii trip)
Alk slightly high at 13 (generally 12)
    Mg 1400 steady

My numbers have been steadily good for several months now.

Because I have 2 feathers and a Gorgonian now, I did start dosing DT Phyto every 2-3 days.

The Gorgonian is only a couple weeks old (in my tank). Other than that, no changes in any thing else in any noticeable regard. I've done nothing other than my testing and feeding and "mag-floating".

I fed it roughly once a month. Generally raw shrimp or fish cut up. It would only take it in tiny pieces.

I am guessing this is a total loss and not ASAP but I am hoping there's a magical trick I can do quickly.

    Help(?)

Also, I am pretty sure (but not certain) that blueberry gorgonians are non-toxic.

My 3 small flower anemones are doing fine.

Looks like something is irritating the h*** out of it.... Any rogue crabs? Did the flow change? Lot of times torches will do that if the flow is too much...
Also look for any snails alone the polyp line... There is Euphyllia predators out there. I had one on my frogspawn that now lives in the sump. I believe they might be some sort of whelk.

Did you try to move it?
    Good luck

Flow hasn't changed at all in at least a few months. I haven't moved it recently nor touched it at all since I've seen this. (EDIT: I haven't moved it since I put it in there)

It looks to be coming off its skeleton.

There is a crab on it now that it is doing this, but it's actually a rare event (though they do love sitting on my feather duster tube opening ::))

The predator, round abouts how big of a thing are we talking about? I am going to go look now.

I found no snails I didn't recognize as my normal CuC and reef safe.

This is really not ASAP anymore as this is just skeleton now. (Mod move if you want please)

I am very bummed about this.

Will having its tentacles spread around my tank cause any problems or should I focus on locating them and getting out as many as I can?

This thing just fell apart fast. Blows my mind. I can't think of a single reason for this...

If I get another torch, I will have it deeper in the tank. This one was kind of close to the T5's. But I probably won't get a torch but a frogspawn instead.

It is possible the low calc is affecting it, see if starts to respond after raising it.
