torch coral

    are they a beginner coral? Or are they expert? Do I need to feed them?

    id say they r a hard beginner, possibly moderate... and the feeding depends on the light

    i have a frogspawn (same genus) and i feed phyto to it only when its mouth was open in the very beginning. now i never see the mouth open and it has nice color under my halides.

    You dont have to feed them, but mine seems to really enjoy getting some mysis weekly. The only thing hard about them is the amount of space they tank up and need around them. If your loving torch corals I would recommend checking out long tentacle plate corals too. I got one last week and it looks and flows just like a single giant torch head.

    i got a biocube stock compact lighting. Is that too under power for this coral?

    Go to google and type in "(desired coral name) coral care"
    Example: torch coral care

    You will find a plethora of knowledge.

    You can do this in the search bar of this forum as well

    Example:
    Go to search function.
    Type in torch coral.

    Threads pertaining to torch corals are presented to you.
