Torch coral question

    i just got a torch coral and i just wanted to make sure that its ok to be placed on a rock or does it have to have the sandbed

    if oyu put it on a rock it might hurt the flesh on it. sandbed is the best.

    +1 At night it has really long feeder's.

    ive got a rock thats completly by itself not anywhere near other rocks or coral, think its ok if i put it on there?

    its on like a long branch looking thing since it has that would it be ok to be on a rock because of that thing

    As long as it has a few inches of clearance on all sides, it should be ok. Depending on what type of lighting you have, it may be best to put in on the highest rock so it has plenty of light and space for it's tentacles to grab passing food.

    as long as the flesh doesnt touch a rock it should be fine. sand bed would be better but with your brain and bubble there isnt much room is there? :p

    i have a 4x39 t5 tek, i also will need an ID for another coral, that i got im pretty sure its an SPS but i dont know the name, ill post pics and another thread once im done acclimating everything, i just got my water so im doing a 10gall water change right now then ill temp acclimate

    i know the they take up too much room, they had acans that i wanted but i new they needed the sandbed so i didnt get those, and the bubble has taken over the entire spot, glad i separated the two
