I am looking into a top off system for my sump.

Is there a " best way to do this "

I want to set it up once and and do it right, I dont like to tinker to much, Is there different ways ie ; pressure switch or electric switch ?

Ive looked but dont know what is best

    Any input would be great

    Thanks

I use the ATO system by JBJ. I'm very happy with it. Very easy to set up. Not too expensive and appropriate fail-safes.

I didn't want to spend a ton on a new top off system, and my sump is in a separate room than my tank. I just bought a float valve, bulk head and some tubing to make a gravity fed top off kit from a 6 gal bucket. That may be a suggestion. Search for "float valve auto top off" or threw a google search. Only cost me 25$ (So far) just have to build a PVC T to set the float valve in the sump. Also look on bulk reef supply.com, or autotopoff.com. Just a suggestion.
