:eek::eek: I cannot wait to get this TEK fixture! Your tank is simply stunning. Sunglasses won't do much when I am in need of a paper towel to wipe the drool off 8)

    Hey Poseidon,

Great pictures, but I have a SPS question. I am very new into SPS and noticed in your first picture that the red/pink coral has white tips. Is this a sign of growth or recession. I would think growth ,but I know coral bleaching is something to look out for. The reason I ask is I just got my first couple of frags a few weeks ago and they are having the same look as that particular coral, white tips etc. Thanks for the info.

The tank is a 90 gallon, here is a full tank shot from last month:

I'll keep that in mind on the Anthias, the Bartletts sure are pretty, and the one that I have now was eating pellets within minutes of being added to the tank.

    Thanks!

    Thank you.

LOL! You will like the TEK fixture, my friend has an 8 bulb unit, and it is plenty bright. That 8 bulb fixture is kept about 18" above the tank, that tank is full of Acans and Chalice corals though too.

In this case it is growth, but yes it can be recession. Sometimes an SPS will show the white tips due to "Alk Burn" when your Alkalinity gets to high, or raises to fast.

Thank you, I am glad you like it.
