Too much Live Rock?

Thank you so much for the advice. I have been trying to read as much as I can about different corals for beginners. This is my first reef tank and everything suggests all of the corals you listed but they don't tell what to watch out for with them.

Worked on the redesign last night. I couldnt believe how much stuff came off of the LR when I started moving it around. I now have a lot of base rock available for my next tank :

1st pic is the before and then the after taken this morning with the HQI's on. I created a crazy sand storm last night so it was kind of like driving with no headlights on when trying to build this. The corners are bare now and I have noticed such an improvement in the overall flow around the tank.

;D Not at all. I ended up taking out just about all of the base rock I bought and my wife asked me what will I do with that now. So thats when I said, "Get a 2nd tank that is bigger!"

 

Get another powerhead and make a sps tank.. yeah!!!

 

update on my rocks

2 weeks later....things are moving along nicely.

 

Looks great! I like your new scape much better.

...You could still make another tank with your left-over rock.

 

Already lobbying for it!
