hi guys new reefer. my tank is really starting to come up well al the algae and stuff has died off now ad my fish are fat and getting huge cant say the same for my corals they seem a ltitle limp i dont really have much sort of just a tester to start off with before i start spending more money on it n e wayy ..... i have a metal halide 2 250w globes with 4 t5's 2 blue and 2 white running sdown either side and 2 moonlights i think they are. i have my t5's coming on from 8am to 8pm.. my halide comes on at about 11 am to around 4 pm i thought this would simulate the middle of the day. any way is there a way to dim the lights orsomething and is this light schedule ok also i never turn the moonlights off

Hi Chris B - how big is your tank - its seems large if its the one on your Avator?

doesnt seem like to much light to me based on what I see others running on tank specs and in the "show of your fish tank" section on this forum

I dont own Halides so Im not sure about dimming issue -

Yep, hadnt finished and accidental click of mouse

I dont think T5s are dimmerable - as you need a specific ballast that will operate under conditions of reduced input
