I have 2 False paired Percula's amongsts many others listed in my signature. Can I put a Tomato clown in there too? I heard that you couldn't, but some reefers have. Any thoughts?

In a 155 you could possibly pull it off but I wouldn't try it personally.

In my 150 I had a black perc and a maroon living on opposite ends of the tank. OUt of nowhere the maroon killed the black perc. It just happened one day with no warning

I had a tomato clown about a year ago that was mean as a barn owl. As they age, they tend to get quite aggressive. Of course, YMMV since you have a 150, and mine was in a 55. He was a good fish for about 5 years, but turned ornery and very territorial almost overnight.

I've read that maroons are by far potentially the meanest clowns, but tomatos can run a close second IME.

It's going to be a put it in there and see kind of thing. With my tank, the aggressor is a large yellow damsel. I put a medium size maroon in the left side of the tank (the damsel has the right side) and he got challanged immediately. The only reason he did not get killed is that they are about the same size. I had planned that out.....with success......this time.

So I say go for it and see. Just make sure the size of the fish is the same.
