toadstool leather webs

    does anyone know what the spider wed type strings comming out of my toadstool coral might be

    stress. it probably noticed some sort of water param change or was disturbed. MY toadstool gets it from time to time when a fish decides to rub up a lil too hard. I wouldnt worry about it. How long have you had it in the tank?

    i have had it for about 3 or 4 days now but its not the kinda webs i see sometimes from other corals they come out like fishing lines and suck back in

    Need a pic, but I dont think its the toadstool. Look around and see if you see a small tube with two little antenna like things coming out of it. If you see that, thats where that sipder web thing is coming from. Sorry I dont know the name of it, remember that Im not good with names. Luna

    im looking at the toadstool and around and these very thin threads appear to be coming directly off the top there are a couple threads coming off then i see em suck back in every now and then i highly doubt my camera can capture the threads they are very thin

    i swear something is fishing these strings get pretty long the all have little strings coming off the strings kinda look like a ladder cut dont the middle they come out sway in the water and often suck back in or appear to suck back in

    Go to Figure 4, thats what Im talking about. The only spider webs that I see in my tank come from those things. Luna
