my toad stool is detaching from the rock that it came on. Would it be ok to super glue it to a rock or should i do the toothpick and rubber band method?

is the leather happy? not melting is it? if the base (bottom) of the stalk isnt slimy and can be somewhat dried i would try the glue first.

it can go where ever. just give it some space. and once open the areas below it will have a noticable diff in the amount of light. so take that into consideration when planning on the placement of your corals.

I had the exact same problem, my new toadstool came dettached from its rock. At first I tried the toothpick and rubber band trick, that didn't work: ended up the toothpick cut through the base. Then I tried the super glue trick. This one worked for quite a while but eventually failed. What I found worked extremely well and fast was to take a dixie cup, put some sand it the bottom, a few lr rubble pieces and then set the toadstool in there. I placed it at the bottom of my tank in very low flow. After 1 week it was attached to the rocks.
