lack of waterflow is probably the main concern, direct some flow to the toadstool and it should recover.. does it have direct moderate to strong water flow? that's what it should be getting, good luck

might want to move it to a different location in the tank. Mine's been going thru something since I moved it to the 135. Also, make sure it's getting enough flow, but not being blasted. how long has it been acting up? reason I ask is that sometimes they will just close up or even bend at the stalk for days and even weeks, for no apparent reason, then go back to normal.

How is your light and how long have you had the toadstool?

Mine was actually shrinking under my PC lighting. Now that I have T5s it is looking a lot better. In fact it has a baby growing off the side of it. They say leather have low light requirements but mine sure loves the brighter lighting.

Not sure if it was coincidence or not but the day after I added a Colt Coral half way across the tank the toadstool flopped over. It's almost like there was some chemical warfare going on. It recovered but it gave me a scare. Not sure if you added anything lately but you can try adding some carbon.

Is it closed up or is it partially open and closed?

If its closed up, it could be shedding which is a good thing. Do you run any carbon?
