What is your salinity? That is something else to check and also do you have a regular topoff process in place to keep it stable?

Everything mentioned so far sounds good to me though.

Vivid have some really nice corals. Most of the things you've mentioned so far are pretty low light corals generally speaking although I would still always doublecheck before you buy one.

    Have fun!

Ok so I got some more testing stuff today
    Calcium-460ppm
    KH-143.2
    Phosphate-0
    Nitrate-0
    Nitrite-0
    Ammonia-0
    PH-8.4
    Salinity-1.024

I still need to get a alkalinity and magnesium tester, but my LFS wanted $50 a kit. So I will order them off the net. I also need a refracto meter.

As far as top off, I just test it and top off my sump everyday. I am pretty good about it since I do the same thing to my tanks at work everyday

well KH is actually alkalinity if im not mistaken, and nice to see another 40 breeder here! it seems that all your params are good, but still being 2 months new i would advise you to wait a couple of weeks, just in case, because you are soon to begin having trouble with algae

thanks, I had a brief algae problem last week, all my rock was covered in brown hair algae but all my fish have made short work of it. Every fish I have loves to eat algae. Plus my fuge has been helping. I think. hahaha
