So I put a bottle of tigger-pods into my sump w/ a bunch of live rock and some chaeto.

2 weeks later I have some hair algae growing on my glass (b/c I'm an idiot and haven't watched my phosphates closely enough). All throughout the hair algae are little tiny white copepods.

Now my understanding is that tigger pods are supposed to be red, these certainly aren't. They don't seem to be attaching to any fish and nothing seems to mind them. I don't see them in my fuge, but they're all over the hair algae in the tank.

Does anyone know what they might be other than just your ordinary copepods? Should I be concerned?

I can't get a picture of them, but they look just like a tigger pod, but white (little round body with antenna on the front and a very small tail on the back).

    Thanks

Why did you post twice, you could've just edited the other post.

Wasn't sure where it belonged, thought I could delete the post from the wrong forum. My bad.
