    I found the following item on ebay, and I'm thinking about using it over my fuge...thoughts?

    Might be OK, but that could be a lot of juice for a fuge. I am a little worried because terrestrial plant bulbs are more red light based and salt water plants and creatures are accustomed to a little bluer light.

    They have a blue/white LED mix one...I thought I want the 6500k lights over the fuge, thats the only reason I was thinking this one.

    If they are 6500K then it should be good. You can go down to 5000K without an issue. Just don't go any lower. Many times the bulbs are 4100K or even lower.

    Yah it says ...they seem cheap...its 12x12...Do you think I need two for my fuge 18x14

    I just use a clip on light with a 75W plant flood light. My cheato grows like crazy. Cost me about $13 at Home Depot. I read about this on wetwebmedia.com a while back and it works.
