Oh its worse where i come from, the LFS i work at has the BEST prices ever! But there is another one where all the newbs go, because the one i work at people dont know about till after they go to the one thats super expensive for about a month or so. But the other place was selling like 25 polyps of watermelon zoas for like $50 bucks. I was like, uhh..you kidding me? i could buy for a 300+ plus of the same zoas for like $50! haha. And they had a 20 head acan lord for like $500, but the heads werent that big, they were just spread on a 5x3 rock, i have the same amount of heads on one that i got, i got it for $30. I SOOOOO wanted to say something, but i held back my mean side until i got back to my LFS. haha.

my lfs is like that only all the corals are that overpriced, a piece of star polyp that large would go for 80 at neptunes, and a tiny 1 inch sps frag is 40 dollars.

You know those prices are still better than some LFS in lexington ky. We basically have 2 stores. The cheaper one only has fish and mostly soft corals, the other one has fish, soft corals, lps and sps. The lps and sps are $100 a frag, dry goods lol $40 for a kent carbon filter for rodi. I can order 1 frag and pay shipping for less, so impulse buying I never do.
