as most of you are aware i have been out of the hobby for quite some time now. i have been very busy with work and school and such and now i have come to a time where i have enough extra $$ and time to get back in. im thinking a nice simple little nano for my desk.

i have been out some time and am a little rusty and not caught up on all the "latest" stuff so if you guys could help catch me up that would be splendid! whats a nice little nano tank i could set up? i dont want anything over 5 gallons. also whats a good little light fixture? does not need to be sps capable im simply looking for it to be able to light some softies, maybe an lps or 2.

as for whats INSIDE the tank i was thinking of getting 5 or so pounds of shelf rock probably from marcorocks as i have purchased from them before and i was pleased but what other place has good rock?

also im a little stumped on what i should keep in there. i know it will be a tiny tank but i was thinking a pair of clown gobies, or would that be a little much?

i would like this to stay under or around 200 total for the whole setup. let me know if thats possible :laughing0

Probably should go with a LeeMar Starfire DT and sump with a powder coated steel stand. The stock NPS/SPS with a few clams, and maybe some rare Terelabrus Sp. for fish. Bubble King skimmer in the bottom and a Drilled mini fridge hooked up do dosing pumps and an APEX for auto feeding throughout the day with Radion pros on top with some Vortechs.

He was being funny (I laughed at least).

Back OT, I honestly don't see a 5 gallon as a good place to start back up, or to try and setup for under $200. A 5 gallon tank will need temperature control, ATO, and/or a controller. If the room it is going in is climate controlled, then maybe it would not be so bad. Just the parameter can swing so rapidly in them...
