I have no green algae or any type in my tank. I have to feed my snails because I don't want them to starve lol.

Hmmm... Were the rocks kept wet at all times? Did you change anything after the move?

They stayed in the same tank water completely covered and the tank was set up within a few hours of being took down. The only thing that's different is the water that goes through the RODI system.. I moved to a different area. But that really shouldn't matter since it goes through the RODI system..

As mentioned before about coraline thriving in different lighting, did you change your lighting upon the move? I have noticed more of the purple crust on the side of my tank that gets lower light but good flow.

Wow! That is beautiful. The corals I have are doing great. That's all that matters at this point.

I use reef crystals. I have noticed that coraline growth slows in when alk is kept between 7-8 and starts to pick up steam above 9. What's your alk normally at?

I keep it at about 9.4 My rocks still have some coraline on them, but no where near what they had. I guess I could have worse problems.

I think we all like coraline algae at first but as you find out more about it you will be happy to see it disappear.
