Ok... I just converted from 125 to 210 (brand new everything) except the rock, sand and some corals and fish from the old tank.

    Water tests perfect for everything...

What I am worried about is the lighting may be wrong, ( too strong or weak)...

Also, I have tiny air bubbles coming in from one of my returns. can that be a problem?

My pink toodstole, tounge, 1 of the colts, 1 bubble, 1 set of Xenia and some other corals are all looking like they are dying.

I lost about 8 fish in the last week, but I think its due to someone in there eating them.

Here is the link that you can see the entire tank and every single thing in it... there is a very detailed list here too.

    Thanks for any help !!!

I noticed you have some API test kits. What are you using to test your PH? I had a fish die in my tank when everything tested perfect and took a sample of my water to the LFS and was suprised to find out that my PH was drastically lower then I thought. The api test kit I used read out at 8.0 and the LFS kit had me at 7.0. I figured out that the API test kit is hard to read and bought the one he was using and took it home and retested my tank and sure enough it was reading 7.0. Just an Idea.. but im by far no expert. Im sure the rest of these guys have better ideas.

125 to 210 is a lot of extra water -- how much "new water" did you need to add to the system? You other post said you added 40 corals and presumable a lot of new fish, that’s a huge load into a system that may be cycling due to the influx of potentially upward of 100 gallons of new water.

When I seen the abundant supply of coral in bags floating in your tank.. the first thing I thought which is what crimson was prolly thinking was. He is adding all that to his tank all at once? I always go by the rule of 1 or 2 new things every week or 2 and see how the tank reacts..but thats just me.

also noticed alot seemed to be added all at 1 time from the pics of multiple bags floating. i dont know if that could cause a problem , but just a thought of mine

You must be insane !! LOL , We recently had a friend that had his store shut down, so he had to unload all his corals and we had a large empty tank setup. So he filled our 265g with lots of frogspawn and some others. But our nitrates flew up toward 80 ppm within a week. We have it fixed, but it put a large load on our tank. They want to put in some big fish, but I am afraid, cause the nitrates are not stable yet. I think it will send the tank over the edge.

Maybe your oxygen levels were low with all the new water volume which may not have been fully aerated and all the livestock moved very quickly, and added stress of moving to a new tank. Just some speculation.

could it also be the case , you really werent fully cycled? even tho you upgraded tanks , from one to another , with the extra rock and substrate , there would be some cycling going on.

I say that it had to cycle still. I moved a tank, and it went through a cycle.

it was mentioned i think in his other thread, it cycled in 3 weeks. which imo would be too short
